Angela Cissom, Au.D.

Angela Cissom, is an Audiologist who works for Taylor Hearing, in Memphis. Her clinical specialties include working with the hearing impaired and their families to evaluate and fit hearing aids based on their individual needs and situation. Angela has been working in private practice for over 10 years and has been with Taylor Hearing Centers since 2014. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and is passionate about raising Alzheimer’s awareness and how it impacts cognitive function related to hearing loss.

Angela graduated from Calvin College in 2008 with a major in Communication Science Disorders. She went on to earn a Doctorate of Audiology from Missouri State University in 2012. She became a hearing care provider because of her personal experience with her father’s hearing loss and her desire to improve her patients’ quality of life through better hearing. Her favorite part of working as a hearing care provider is seeing her patients’ faces light up when they can hear again, knowing that she has made a difference in their lives.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is married to her husband Justin, and has four children ranging from ages 1 to 12. While not particularly into sports, she watches the MSU Bulldogs and Dallas Cowboys with her husband. Angela loves to learn more about advancements in hearing technology to improve her patients’ hearing. Her patients would describe her as compassionate, knowledgeable, and a counselor. A fun fact about Angela is that she is an only child.
